This is the first time in the Coven family's history this has happened, and the Elder is worried, though he tries not to show it. As the other Covens continue saving the people in their own dreams and fighting the group who wish to stop them, the Counters, Chase must go to a new school and pretend to be normal. He is ecstatic when his best friend Chris starts at the school shortly after him, but then he's introduced to Chris's girlfriend, and his whole world turns upside down yet again.
