Zebra in the Woods

Based on true events:

Young and alone, Einstein is relocated to a strange new life in St Louis, Missouri and struggles to find his place. As a wild animal thrust into a domesticated world, he is sad, scared, and entirely distrustful of the humans trying to care for him.

Slowly, Einstein learns to manage his fears with the help of a quirky new family-including two tortoises, comforting old pants, and an intuitive young boy. But as he grows, this exotic foal must learn to bridge his deep-rooted wild instincts with his love for his unexpected friends.

If he cannot overcome his fears and learn to trust, he risks never discovering where his wild heart truly belongs. For fans of the Voice of the Wilderness series, this intriguing middle-grade tale explores the surprising, unconventional story of a zebra embracing wild stripes to find his way.
