The author employs a synchronic reading of the Abrahamic cycle, highlighting the use of various literary devices found within the divine speeches. Through this engagement it becomes clear that the high concentration of distinctive literary features found in the speeches of Yahweh are deliberately denied and glaringly absent from other characters within the Abrahamic narratives.
