continues to elevate Vietnamese American literature, whose renaissance it

contemporary Vietnamese American writers, such as Linh Dinh, Andrew Lam, Bich
Minh Nguyen, and Dao Strom, explore thematic and stylistic territory previously
overlooked in other collections, which have traditionally focused on war. New
