Underdogs: Tales of Rescue, True Love and Finding Home

A heartwarming coffee table book celebrating the remarkable journeys of rescued dogs and the families who gave them a second chance.

Through powerful portraits by Barbara Neely and deeply personal stories shared by the families who love them, Underdogs explores the transformation that unfolds when a dog moves from uncertainty to belonging. These pages document what happens after adoption, when fear begins to fade, trust takes root, and personality shines through.

Each story reflects resilience in its own way, whether quiet and steady or messy, humorous, and unexpected. At the heart of them all is the connection that forms when humans and dogs choose one another and commit to staying.

Together, these stories create a record of second chances and the profound bond that develops when love is offered without condition. Underdogs is both a tribute to the dogs who found their way home and a celebration of the families who chose them.
