To Your Name is different from any other book I have seen. In it you will be taken on a tour of the Psalter (not an exhaustive one, but a comprehensive one). Each lesson will feature a single psalm, focusing on a particular audience and a particular message. The lesson will help you study the psalm in question in seven different ways: A brief look at the psalm itself. An insight into the use of figurative language as it is used in the psalm. A Bible lesson about a character who fits in the scope of the psalm. A secondary psalm to study in brief, helping to show the pattern of topic development throughout the Psalter. A "case study" of a person in the modern day that relates to the topic at hand. A look into the New Testament at a story, character or text that is brought into sharper relief by considering a verse or term from one of the two selected psalms. Finally, a modern-day hymn relating to the topic, and a discussion of how we can use hymns of this nature to emphasize points being taught in the psalm."
