Myrtle Beeswood is a young magical Beekeeper so talented she can raise the dead, and yet she cannot heal her own mother.

When Myrtle sets out to make a name for herself, she struggles to find the balance between letting herself enjoy childhood and growing up. After arriving in Wendermere she learns of the mysterious disappearance of the town's previous Beekeeper and seeks to unravel the truth. With each person she cures, her talents grow and flourish. Something is guiding her, whispering to her in the faintest of voices like rustling in the breeze... Perhaps it is the bees themselves talking? She succeeds in healing a man whose heart has stopped, a feat which shocks the surrounding countryside, and leads many to seek out Myrtle and her abilities in the hopes of being healed. As her powers grow, so too does Myrtle's own hope, and she begins to believe that she can find a cure for her mother. But, before she can make her way back home, her abilities and her compassion and hope must be tested. A lingering fear threatens to take hold of her and lead her to the path of despair. Myrtle sees shadows flicker and vines snaking towards her, could there be a dark magic festering beyond the borders of the quaint town of Wendermere?
