A meditation on loss and love.

The poems in That's Where You ComeIn address the loss over time of friends and family. And yet several figures return, ghost-like, to make appearances in the speaker's life: an uncle, a mother, a father, and close friends. Even a favorite dog returns to take the poet out to dinner in the afterlife. Despite the collection's focus on these losses, the book has a central thread of new love; many of these love poems are set in the urban landscape of New York City, capturing its streets, characters, and institutions.
