Megan is brought back to the immortal realm, Arvada, by Vincent in the middle of a war. After learning of Casper's utter betrayal, and the truth behind Vincent's actions, Megan decides to stay with Vincent.

But Arvada isn't the same as it once was. The more Megan learns, the more she struggles with life there and longs to return to the human world. She runs away only to become a prisoner of the Elves where she discovers the truth about the Nuummite Jewel. The Elves will grant her freedom under one condition: she must kill Vincent.
