This book is important to read because it explains the reason we have war, judgment, murder, and terrorism - instead of peace. In Peace and Forgiveness, Jefferson Glassie tells us how we can have peace of mind and peace in our world. He explains how to know love based actions, and how to recognize that everything else is based on fear. People don't understand that hate and anger are based on fear. Letting go of fear - the process of forgiving - leads to peace. It's only a matter of looking at things differently; a paradigm shift, if you will. If this sounds naive, you probably don't want to read this book. But if you are one who thinks complex things often are best explained in simple terms, then this just might be an important book for you.
