My Dear

Will you ever know

Who the woman inside will be

What story that she will tell

What steps will she take

And what path would she create

What is her purpose and passion

Which is far greater than anything

She could imagine or

Ever knew she would be

She knew she had words

Words to inspire

Words to heal humanity

She knows now

That she is me

Dawn

What motivated/inspired you to write this book?

"I actually was thinking about my past and how it influenced my present time in life. I began to think about the times that my mother would take me in the neighborhood and she and the beautiful ladies would talk about life. Within those talks they would sometimes say My Dear... and give me words of wisdom and knowledge for when I would become a young adult and woman. Those words stuck with me and have helped me along my journey of life. It was within the elders of the community that I began to understand how life would move forward in stages. That we are a part of a bigger picture and that our dreams a part of the process of life. Each one was preparing me for life in such a beautiful way."

About the Author: Dawn Gregory grew up in Freehold, New Jersey, a multi-cultural place she holds dear to her heart. "I really enjoyed growing up within the town and loving life. The beaches and boardwalk were my absolute favorites. My present location is overseas for the last 14 years, and this is where I found my love, passion, and purpose of writing and becoming an author." This is her fourth book.
