Lizbet and Declan are on the brink of their lives. After graduation, Declan plans to leave for college on the East Coast, but his world is turned upside down when his grandfather is attacked by wolves. Lizbet draws upon her ability to communicate with animals to try and find the wolves responsible, but she soon discovers the wolves have terrifying abilities of their own, capable of destroying not only Lizbet and Declan's plans for their future but also their hearts.
