To survive you need to eat, to eat you need to trade. True Gallows understands this. True is mean, ugly, and they work alone scavenging the endless dead bodies left behind by a lethal disease. They feed fresh goods into the After Market while civilians turn a blind eye, happy to not have to choose between starvation and joining the shadow dwellers in eating human livers.

When a cult of medics known as the Red Faction starts destroying After Markets, True takes a trade to destroy the Faction right back. Armed with their shovel and plagued by their eerie stalker, Radio Silent, they traverse a land of cannibals, overly friendly strangers, and backstabbing, to complete what might end up as their final trade.
