It shows how people have responded to technological change and to cycles of industrial growth and decline over time. This volume covers the industrial heritage of the South East area of Dublin exploring the now radically transformed south Docklands and key sites along the Dodder, the Poddle and Grand Canal and sites in the south city centre, Ringsend, Sandymount, the Poolbeg Peninsula, Ballsbridge, Rathmines, Ranelagh, Milltown and Dartry, Clonskeagh, Harold's Cross.
