Dorothea Through My Eyes

Nathan and Pete met at Yale. A couple of years after graduation, Nathan is introduced to Pete's British wife, Dorothea. Over the years, Nathan forms a close relationship with the couple. Dorothea hosts groups of their friends, including Nathan, for dinner parties at their modest apartment in New York, while Pete works on finishing his first novel.Once Pete's novel is published, his career begins to gather momentum. He and Dorothea move to London, where they have a son. Nathan is a regular visitor, but as time marches on he becomes a reluctant observer of the slow disintegration of Dorothea, and a dark side to her he hopes he can ignore. A friend to both Dorothea and Pete, Nathan is torn. Should he delve deeper into what is driving Dorothea or can he act as if he didn't see anything at all?
