Clive's Uni-Verse: A Cornishman's Take on Life

Clive's Uni-Verse is a heartfelt and uplifting collection of Cornish poetry celebrating the richness of everyday life, the beauty of the natural world, and the deep cultural spirit of Cornwall. With warmth, humour, and keen observation, Cornish poet Clive Blake captures the fragile, funny, and profoundly human moments that shape our shared experience. His poems honour Cornish landscapes, stories, and voices while also looking outward with curiosity, compassion, and a love of rhythm and rhyme.

The collection opens with a Foreword by Elizabeth Dale - 'The Cornish Bird' - the respected writer, podcaster, and storyteller known for exploring Cornish heritage, folklore, and place. Her introduction situates Blake's work within the long tradition of Cornish storytelling, highlighting how poetry connects communities across generations and how regional identity continues to inspire contemporary writers.

Accessible, relatable, and deeply rooted in a sense of place, this collection will appeal to readers who enjoy nature poetry, inspirational poetry, and writing that celebrates belonging, memory, humour, and the beauty of the everyday. Blake's poems offer comfort, reflection, and gentle wisdom, drawing on the rhythms of Cornish life and the universal experiences that unite us.

Blake offers a joyous and thoughtful perspective on life - a voice that The Mosaic Digest Magazine describes as "a global poetic treasure."

Perfect for readers seeking uplifting verse, regional writing, and poetry that blends tradition with a modern, heartfelt touch, Clive's Uni-Verse invites you to pause, smile, and rediscover the extraordinary within the ordinary.
