Inexperienced and a bit naive, 21-year-old Pacific Northwest native Antigone D'Angelo lives with chronic pain, but refuses to let it get her down. With the help of a gender-neutral pixie, a bisexual witch, and her sarcastic cat, Samson, Antigone embarks on the search for a cure, which leads her to bargaining with a variety of supernatural beings, including human-octopus hybrids called cecaelians.
