The Big Top Circus is in full swing at Point Beach State Forest. The ringmaster, a clown from Windsong's past, sets the stage for "funny business," as he runs the show with a group of teenage performers from the circus school.

Love is in the air, until Grandpa Bob's engagement ring goes missing. The three young detectives are on the case, tracking down a mischievous circus monkey who quickly becomes suspect, only to discover there's more to the story than meets the eye. With only a weekend to solve the crime, Dominic, Forest and Sailor have big shoes to fill.
