She's kind of a mess, but she's got a big heart and even bigger dreams of rock'n'roll stardom. But, when a cruel YouTube video exposes secrets about six seniors at Foxboro High, everyone learns about the worst moment of Cynthia's life - a sexual assault from over a year ago. Now, she wants revenge as well.

Her quest for justice lands Cynthia in Saturday detention with popular basketball player and fellow secret holder, Brayden. After a rocky start, the two decide to work together to get revenge on Cynthia's old band by beating them in a Battle of the Bands competition.

Cynthia expects to work hard. What Cynthia doesn't foresee? Falling for Brayden, her new guitar player. Brayden, however, plans on quitting the band after the competition.
