A human, a Naga, and one in between...

are all that stand in the midst of peace and destruction.

Marissa's life has been a whirlwind since she woke up in reptilian territory. Not only is the Naga they've been searching for her long-lost father, but he's found two pieces of an ancient idol, one capable of summoning a goddess to destroy the human kingdom. Unwilling to join him and become the villain the humans believe her to be, she and Arthur desperately seek a way to stop the summoning.

But they're not alone - Marissa's Naga aunt, Nathara, also wants to stop her brother's scheme. The idol pieces cannot be destroyed by mortal means, but Nathara knows a place where they can find answers to both the goddess's plans and Marissa's origins - the secretive Testudo territory.

Their journey will take them all the way across the Valley of Scales, encountering new dangers, forming new allies, and discovering new secrets in both human and reptilian territory. Marissa is desperate to end the escalating war, but as battles rage and tensions flare, she begins to realize that there may be only one person that can put an end to Ezrinth's fury.

Her long-lost mother. But she'll have to find her first.

The Valley of Scales Saga is a young adult, high stakes, slow-burn fantasy romance trilogy filled with morally grey characters, found family, multiple monster romances, and lots of reptiles based on real-life species. Perfect for reptile lovers who enjoy fantasy romance but want a story where the snake is a hero.

"I love the characters. Not just Marissa and Author who are adorable but I love Thomas and Nathara just as much. And....The ending! Gosh I can't wait to read the conclusion." - Goodreads Review
