Among the flashes of soulless neon and beautiful cherry blossom petals trampled on the ground, Naoko Haneda has always struggled to find her place in a cruel and uncaring world. That is, until she discovers an unexpected ally inside her own mind: a kind girl named "Kokoro" who wants nothing more than to heal and protect her.

Life is not without its horrors, however. Tragedy awaits as they come face to face with a human trafficking ring preying on young girls throughout Tokyo.
