After the pirates on Islas Encantadas, Ian Wilder whiles away his days in Oakhaven Treatment Residence, trying to forget that Penelope left him behind for the Infiniuum. Luckily, his therapy is working. Ian is happy to move on and get back home in a week.

But that's just it, the Infiniuum won't let him. Days before his release, Ian mysteriously wakes in Atlantis City in a far-off reality. Worse, he's accidentally brought two residents with him, and they've been kidnapped by a freakish ring of meta-human criminals. When he finds his way back to Oakhaven and Steve, Ian learns he, too, has become a traveler of infinite realities.

But Ian can't leave his friends behind in the Infiniuum. That's what Penelope did to him. Can he take what he learned on the high seas and help his friends escape from Atlantis City? Or will he fail and end up in Oakhaven, spending the rest of his life in therapy?
