Kristiina Ehin's second volume of poetry from Arc Publications, On the Edge of a Sword, is selected from her latest collection published in Estonia in spring 2017. These are deeply personal, unflinchingly honest, autobiographical poems and as such are a heartfelt defence of the right of the Estonian language to exist and flourish in an increasingly anglicised world.

Ilmar Lehtpere's translation succeeds in capturing the delicacy and immediacy of Ehin's unique voice, once again allowing an English-language readership access to this remarkable poet's work.
