Pip's patience is being tested when the new baby arrives and the rest of the family is so interested in the baby they don't even notice Pip. Then, keeping momma's attention was getting more difficult. The baby always needed help. Pip doesn't even want a new baby she likes being the baby.

For weeks Pip was frustrated until she realized that she and the baby had more in common that she thought. Learning patience was the most difficult thing ever, and then realizing how much she loved the baby was a surprise.
