Lilly the lamb has a unique gift of feeling the emotional effects of school shootings on students and families. She's determined to help ease their pain through ideas she comes up with to help keep schools safer for learning. When Lilly takes her ideas to Congress in Washington, D.C., her journey there raises a lot of questions by many along the way. Will she be successful with her message? About the Author

Sharalyne C. King is an elementary school teacher in the Pacific Northwest and has a Master in Teaching degree from Washington State University, Vancouver. Sharalyne lives in Longview, Washington, with her two dogs, Lola and JoJo. She enjoys reading books and gardening in her spare time.
