Dr Alyse Price-Tobler, PhD (UniSC), an academic researcher in child psychological abuse related to severe level parental alienation and clinical psychotherapist (MCAP),

Having experienced this abuse herself during childhood, Dr Price-Tobler is deeply invested in understanding and addressing these issues.

Drawing from her twin study doctoral thesis titled "Working with Adult Child Survivors of Severe Parental Alienation Abuse: Survivors and Mental Health Practitioners' Perspectives,"

Volume One delves into firsthand accounts of adult-child survivors and their interactions with mental health practitioners (MHPs) who assisted them with childhood trauma.

In Volume Two, the focus shifts to insights from world-leading MHPs specialising in trauma therapy for adult child survivors of SPA. Additionally, Volume Three will introduce a comprehensive treatment framework for MHPs working with adult survivors.

Drawing from 38 years of frontline experience in disabilities and mental health, Dr Price-Tobler offers a 'lived experience insider researchers' understanding of complex SPA dynamics.
