A working trip to the outback soon becomes a hellish nightmare for Tom McLaren when he intervenes in a local crime and is pursued by a drug-fuelled gunman over a perilous landscape, home to deadly snakes and crocodiles.

Reaching the apparent safety of a small coastal town, Tom learns that the crime is part of a larger conspiracy involving a mining deal worth billions. The mastermind behind the scheme remains an enigma. What is clear is that crooked cops and a deadly assassin are on the payroll, and they will stop at nothing to see the job through and eliminate all witnesses--including Tom.
