Inspired by his awe of the universe, Anselmo's latent sculptures illustrate the visible and invisible natural forces at play in our world

One of the original members of Arte Povera, Giovanni Anselmo (1934-2023) devoted his career to representing earth's forces, such as gravity or magnetism, demonstrated through minimalist arrangements of natural and manmade materials. Beyond the Horizon is the last exhibition the artist worked on before his death.
