Beneath Upside Down Town, where things are usually pretty bad, a sad little boy lives all alone in a sad little house.

But one day, a curious and kind little girl named Hope wanders into the boy's house and brightens his day by doing something no one's ever done. She smiles at him. And he begins to glow.

As the boy's light grows brighter and brighter, so does his house. And when Hope introduces him to some of her positive and encouraging friends, he realizes that he won't be lonely anymore.
