This book has been written with an understanding that an average Christian should have a minimum of 15 minutes of Devotional time alone in the study of God's word and prayers every morning. Not only should you have a quiet 15 minutes quality time with God but also to have a place where you can document your thoughts and things which the lord has dropped on your mind during the course of your daily communion with him. Each day of study in this devotional comes with 2 targeted prayers based on the day's study and other scriptural passages related to the study of the day. This is to further solidify the day's exposition in your mind as you go along. There is also a memory verse for each day in each day's exposition, for the benefit of those who desire to have the word stored in their mind for use when the need arises.
