Failure has been a part of the world since the beginning of time. From tales such as Icarus, which portrays one who flies too high to be devoured by the endless ocean. From tales such as Oedipus, which show the folly in denying one's destiny and the struggle to uphold one's beliefs. From tales such as the greedy God Saturn, devouring his own children to stay in power to be slayed by Jupiter, his son. And, as such tales that consist of the foolish and inane, the struggle for a person to overcome the odds and come to realize the true beauty in making art and the warmth it brings.

The Age of an Endless Kite is a personal weaving of poetry which expresses the failure, longing, desire, and underlying passion that the author feels. Jordon Thill utilizes past experiences as a means to overcome the barriers in his life and to face the lingering despair that unheard art brings.
