But in\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003espite of the years of being held captive to sin he did not lose\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003econsciousness of the eternal love and grace of the Lord God Almighty.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAfter many years living in England, and away from any church, the\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ebrother recognised his state of helplessness without Jesus Christ and\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ecried out, in confession and repentance. The Lord heard and answered\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ehim, and by the saving power of the Holy Spirit, he was cut free to\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eresume on the Christian walk.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBrother Riggon re-baptised and turned to fellowship at his childhood\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003echurch and throughout this moving testimony, he has clearly become\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ea committed worker in the vineyard of the Lord at the New Testament\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eChurch of God.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eOn a final note, I am personally very pleased to see the references\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003emade to acknowledge the place in history due to the Claremont New\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eTestament Church of God, in Hanover. This church was planted\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ethrough the tireless labour of a remarkable servant of the Lord, known\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eto us as, 'Brother Bailey', and who hailed from the parish of Clarendon.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eHe settled in the community of Jericho\/Claremont in 1937. I welcome\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ethis historic record for the New Testament churches in the often\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eoverlooked parish of Hanover.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eRev.
