In the warm, rocky desert of Death Valley National Park, Nevada, USA, there's a limestone cave with water heated to 93  F (34  C) all year round. Whew! The water is part of an underground cave system, but the pupfish are only in the top part, eating algae off the rocks. They love the heat. What's even more interesting is that if an earthquake happens in California, it moves water to this cave in just a few minutes, from hundreds of miles away.
